To back up your data, Minarca communicates with our servers and makes comparisons in order to send us the changes that you have made since your last backup. This approach reduces the time needed to back up your data. This operation is automatically set up by Minarca when you link up your computer. Please note that you must have Internet access for Minarca to back up your data.
Minarca ensures the security of data transmitted over the Internet by using proven technologies. Data backup uses SSH network protocol. The first authentication is done with a username and password. This initial authentication is used to establish a key exchange with Minarca’s servers. This key exchange authenticates the remote computers for future connections.
Your data is stored on a server where permissions are enforced, granting access only to you.
The Minarca web application uses the HTTPS protocol, which is currently used for the secure transmission of sensitive data such as bank transactions and online purchases.
